Key Responsibilities
- Perform California BAR smog inspections on vehicles
- Operate and maintain smog check equipment
- Explain test results to customers clearly
- Identify vehicles that fail emissions tests and recommend repairs
- Maintain accurate records and documentation
- Stay current with California BAR regulations and requirements
- Provide excellent customer service
- Keep work area clean and organized
Requirements
- California BAR Smog Check Technician license (required)
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1+ years of experience performing smog checks preferred
- Knowledge of vehicle emissions systems
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Good customer service skills
- Ability to work independently
- Valid driver's license
