About the Role

We're looking for a specialized Module Repair Technician to join our advanced electronics team. This unique position focuses on repairing and reprogramming vehicle control modules, requiring a blend of electronics expertise and automotive knowledge. You'll work with sophisticated diagnostic equipment to restore functionality to critical vehicle systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and repair vehicle control modules (ECM, TCM, ABS, SRS, etc.)
  • Program and reprogram modules using factory-level tools
  • Perform component-level electronic repairs when possible
  • Test and validate repaired modules before installation
  • Document repair procedures and outcomes
  • Stay current with module repair techniques and technologies
  • Collaborate with technicians on complex diagnostic cases
  • Maintain specialized repair equipment and tools

Requirements

  • Electronics or automotive electronics training/certification
  • 2+ years of experience with vehicle module repair preferred
  • Knowledge of automotive electrical systems and CAN bus
  • Experience with soldering and component-level repair
  • Familiarity with factory programming tools
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Attention to detail and precision
  • Valid driver's license
